4 Months old

Wow, where have the last 4 months gone? It seems like time is going by so much faster with Hudson than it did with Austin. I guess because life is much crazier with two kids.

Hudson: you are still such a happy baby, it amazes me still. You really only fuss when you are hungry or need a clean diaper. You are sleeping through the night and napping really well. I have been trying to get you on a schedule but it doesn't seem to be working (my fought-seems like I picked the worse times for your nap). So now I am trying to let you nap around 7:30am,11am and then again around 4pm, these times should work better.
You love your brother so much. You love just watching him play and trying to interact with him. You smile all the time and its such an amazing little smile. You also laugh out loud now when you think something is too funny. You have your first favorite little toy-its a little start blanket that makes crinkle and squeaking noises. You love to hold onto it and also to chew on it.
You have started holding onto things like a rattle or small toys. You have also just recently discovered your little feet. They have not made there way to your mouth yet though-but I am sure it will not be too long. You are sitting up very good with a little support and have very good control of your little neck now.
We had your 4 month check up with Dr. Libby on 6/21/10, you were all smiles at the Dr's office. You had to get 4 vaccinations but they were able to mix them so you only had 2 actual shots. The 1st shot you did great but the 2nd one you whined a little (not crying though) because it burned.

Weight was 14 lbs 1 oz/46 %
Length: 25 inches/52%
Head: 52 1/2 inches/68%

You are also rolling over from both your tummy and your back like a big boy! You are still sleeping in Mommy & Daddy's room in the pack & play in your moses basket even though you are almost too big for it now. Mommy can not bring her self to let you sleep in your own bed at night just yet. You take naps in your bed though.
