This was our first 4th of July as a family of 4. We celebrated by going to Brad's parents house for a cookout with them and Brad's brother, his wife and our niece Cameron. It was a nice relaxing afternoon spending sometime with the family. Even though we all live in the same town, our schedules make it hard for us all to get together at the same time.
Below is our family photo just before we left to head back to our house.
Looks like Hudson partied a little too much at the cookout!
Austin enjoyed eating corn on the cob for the first time (normally I shave it for him). He was a pro at it! We ended up having a picnic in my in-laws front room
Hudson and Grandpa hanging out manning the grill
Hudson and Daddy. I just love how Daddy is the one who always ends up in the photos with the boys. Never any pics of Mommy with the boys-I guess that's probably because Mommy is the crazy lady running around snapping a million pictures. Even though Brad gives me a hard time about always taking so many photos I know one day we will look back and be so glad that I did.
Here is Grandma with Hudson in there matching t-shirts
Of course Austin was not interested in playing in the pool when he had his swimsuit on, but once his street clothes were back on he wanted nothing more than to get in and swim.
Look at that little face.
He looks like he is thinking "haha Mom, I'm in the pool and Grandpa said it was ok"
My boy is such a little ham
Here is my niece Cameron napping on the sofa

Austin coloring and playing with stickers trying to wait patiently for dinner
We left the in-laws and headed back home right around dark-so Austin was able to see some of the fireworks around town on our drive home. We were not sure what he would think about them, since he has never really been around them. But he loved them, so when we got home we sat in the driveway and watched people shooting them off for about and hour. Austin was too cute he would point every time they went off and say "boom, wow, or pretty". Half the time he didn't know where to point since they were going off in every direction. Hudson feel asleep on our way home so he missed the fireworks this year. I cant wait to see both boys reaction to the fireworks next year.
