Husband 1.0

desperate man

I just came across the below note here. I thought it was too cute not to share.

Dear Tech Support,

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance, particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0

In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5 and then installed undesirable programs such as NBA 5.0, NFL 3.0 and Golf Clubs 4.1.

Conversation 8.0 no longer runs and Housecleaning simply crashes the system.

Please note that I have tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail.

What can I do?

Signed,

Desperate

Dear Desperate:

First, keep in mind that Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package while Husband 1.0 is an operating system.

Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme.html and try to download Tears 6.2 and do not forget to install the Guilt 3 Update.

If that application works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.

However, remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1.

Please note that Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download the Snoring Loudly Beta.

Whatever you do, DO NOT under any circumstances install Mother-In-Law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources!)

In addition, please do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0 program.

These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0.

In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend Cooking 3.0 and Hot Lingerie 7.7.

Good Luck!

Tummy Time

At Hudson's 2 month check up his Dr. suggested that we give Hudson 5 mins of tummy time for every hour he is awake during the day. Are you kidding me? I do good to get him on his tummy for 5 mins total a day. He does really well though with holding his head up when we are holding him or he is sitting up against something.

A normal day around the house

This is how a typical day around our house looks.

Austin has to test out his baby "Bo-Bo's" toys to make sure they are safe to play with. Here he is testing out the bumbo chair and the play mat at the same time.
Here are both boys playing with the play mat.

Mothers Day

This was my first mothers day as a Mother of two and it was amazing. It was more like a Mothers Weekend for me. Brad started by arranging for his parents to watch the boys on Friday night so we could have dinner at Bonefish Grill (which I love)! While his parents were watching the boys they were suppose to work on my mothers day gift from the boys. Which I have to give Brad mad kudos for....He got kits for the boys to make 3-d hand prints for me. However Austin was not too excited about doing them so we still have to tackle making them. But I thought that was an amazing idea for Brad to come up with. Sunday we started the day by meeting Brad's parents at Mimi's for brunch (Brad and Mark (my FIL) even thought ahead and made reservations!). After brunch we went over to Brad's parents house for a nice relaxing afternoon. We also took some family photos while we were there. After almost 3 months we did not have a family photo of all 4 of us, until that day. Brad also gave me some cash to decorate the house some. I will be posting photos of the deco updates later.

2 Months old

I am way behind on blog postings so I am going to try and to catch up to some extent. Below are some photos taken of Hudson on his 2 month birthday. He is such a good baby! He is always happy unless he is hungry, tired or needs a diaper change. He usually gets up in the morning to eat around 6 or 7am then naps most of the morning (waking up to eat around 9ish then sleeping till around 12ish). He goes to bed around 9 pm each night and only wakes up once to eat during the night.

He loves watching his brother and loves to smile! He has started talking more (well making noises that I say are him talking). He loves to lay on his play mats and looks at his little friends that hang down. He has started really grabbing hold of them too!

Organizing my Chaos

I really try to keep things organized around our home and in my life. However, since about 1/2 way thru my pregnancy with Hudson I feel like things have just been spiraling out of control around here. I have managed to get a little bit of our house back in order but with a newborn, 2 1/2 year old, a husband and two dogs it never seems to stay that way too long. But this weekend I have set some goals for myself and one is to come up with an organized plan for my days. I am going to break up my cleaning duties into a few rooms each day in hopes that it will not be too overwhelming to me each week and I can actually manage to get thru the whole house in a week. I will let you know how that goes.

I have also decided to start Weight Watchers on Monday. I only gained 10 lbs while pregnant with Hudson and I have managed to lose about 20 since his birth. Which is great I know, but I am not happy yet. So I have decided to do the WW thing and see how that does. I am also going to try and manage a little workout or walk as much as possible. I will also keep you posted on how that goes.

I am also going to try and cut back on my time online during the week-it just keeps me from the things I need to be doing. So I am going to only get online 2 times a day-once in the morning and once in the afternoon/early evening. Hopefully this will make a difference in my day.

Well if you are still reading this long rambling post-thanks!

Easter Fun

Brad went out of town this week for work so Grandma-ma & Papa came to help us! On Wen. we backed some bunny cupcakes to help celebrate the upcoming Easter holiday. Austin had fun helping with the cupcakes (he really enjoys helping me in the kitchen recently). Of course he also enjoyed tasting the cupcakes. Once they were all decorated and cute we took some over to our neighbors and then Austin took some to school for his Easter party, and we also sent some home with Grandpa for him and Grandma.

Some photos of Grandma-ma and Austin decorating the cupcakes!

We made these cute little "carrots" for Austin's friends at school.
