Papa's Birthday

We had a family cookout for Papa's birthday while they were here.  Papa wanted a picture of him & Austin with the birthday cake.  Austin didn't seem to happy about it at first.  That is until Papa let him stick his fingers in the cake and have a little taste.

Playing outside with Grandma-ma & Papa

Grandma-ma & Papa came to visit for Papa's birthday weekend (well actually from Wen-Monday).  We had lots of fun while they were here.  We spent many afternoons playing outside when the weather was nice.  Austin has discovered that playing in the mulch can be very fun.  As much as I hate for him to get dirty I have been trying very hard to let him be a little boy & explore the world.

Finally Got in...

Austin has always been so fascinated with Chloe's dog cage.  Why is it that kids seems to love the things around the house that are not suppose to be toys?  Well, Austin has tried very hard many many times to open the dog cage and has never succeeded.  The other day, I guess I forgot to lock the cage back up when I let Chloe out.  Of course Austin let me know very quick.  I look over and the above it what I found.  I have to admit that it entertained him for at least 30 min.  He was too funny in there and he had a blast.  I tell you it really is the "little things" with kids.

We went over to Brad's parents house for a little while on March 22nd. While we were there Austin did a little exploring in the back yard.

We sure hope the Easter Bunny Brings these to our house
