I am so excited! I listed my first item this morning on Etsy.com. Which is a really cool site where you can buy homemade items.
So here is my online store.

You can make purchases from Etsy or you may email me directly! So far I am just listing my custom photo holiday cards! Let me know what you think. I am really hoping that this will take off and work for me. I would love to be able to provide a little extra money to our family while doing something I enjoy!

The last few days..
Well Austin is officially a big boy now. He turned a year old this past Sat. and I threw a big party for him. I will be posting pictures in the next few days of the big event. We have been crazy over here. Between people coming and going from out of town and decorating and taking everything down. Oh, yeah and we have to work and chase after Austin.
Austin is so close to walking. We dont think it will be too long. We took him to the pumpkin patch on Sunday before Grandma-ma and Papa left and all he wanted to do was hold on to our hands and walk around the place. I am talking like 20 mins. straight he wanted to walk around. I know I need to post photos of this event too. I am going to in the next few days.
Today while Austin was in his pack-n-play~which he seems to love (we put it up for Ava to sleep his weekend-its been since March since Austin had even seen it). So back to him in the pack n play-he was watching elmo when I looked over to discover he had taken his pants off. All I can say is that it must be the boy/man in him. Then tonight while in the bath tub he discovered his privates-which he couldnt stop playing with. Its this normal to be happening so young? Well I am off to get some work done since he is in bed. I promise to post photos of the party and pumpkin patch.

Trip to the Dr.
Yesterday when I put Austin down for his morning nap I noticed a little spot on his leg and one on his side, but didn't think too much about it. A few hours later Austin woke up screaming and I couldn't get him to calm down then I noticed that he had spots all over his legs, tummy and back. So I started freaking out. I probably would have been OK about it if I could have got him to calm down. So off to the Dr. we went. Grandma Debbie met us there. Thank god, because I was a nervous wreck. The Dr. looked at him and said he had some kind of reaction. That it was nothing too serious. When I called Debbie to tell her she said "oh, no, do you think he has chicken pox's?" . That would be our luck considering his party is this weekend. But thankfully he is OK and its nothing big.
Austin is developing quite the little personality. He is trying to talk non stop and is constantly all over the place. He is trying so hard to walk. Half the time he is on all fours walking, he looks like a little monkey when he does this. I have been trying to get a picture and some video of him doing this. He has also started trying to sing along with things and dance to music. He hums or mumbles the Elmo's world song. Too cute.

Our weekend....
So here is another update on our life. Brad took the day off on Friday and we worked in the yard and got some bushes planted outback. We also spent the weekend working on things for Austin's party next weekend. Yesterday we made a stop by Brad's parents for a quick play time. Then Gampa (Brad's Dad) came over to play some more with Austin. Below are some pictures of the aftermath. Brad, Mark & Austin had a big time.
Austin has also had multiple times this weekend where he has come soooo close to taking his first step. He loves to stand at the gate in his room (see below photos) and play with the dogs. Tonight while we were having dinner we had a leak in Austin's cup of water and needless to say he was soaked. So we took his shirt off. He was too cute. After taking these photos I realized it wasn't just his shirt that was covered in water his shorts were too.

The party...And the stress.....
So here is a sneak peak at a few of some of the party stuff....
So, the big day is now offically less than one week away. All I can say is I am stressing out. I am trying not too, but the "OCD" in me is going crazy. My to-do list have list of there own, I have boxes all over my office marked for each room of the house and those boxes have bags in them for each area in that room for decorations. I am trying to make things easier on myself and my mom the day of the party as far as setting up goes. I have tried to get as much as I can done and ready to go. I put together the giraffe tent on Thur. that I will be using as the petting zoo and all I can say is "Wow". IT bigger than I thought, which seems to be the theme with some of my activities. I also inflated the pool which is suppose to be a ball pit. Another thing that turned out much bigger than I expected. Its atleast the size of a queen size bed. I put the balls in it this morning and lets just say that the 200 balls I have didnt even cover 1/2 of the bottom of the pool. I seriously think it would take around 1000 balls to fill it even 1/2 way up. So of course Brad put the breaks on that idea. The pool is tooooo cute. But we got a smaller pool today that is a frog (which I dont think goes with the whole jungle theme, but Brad says its fine). So I am trying to figure out a way to incorporate the other pool still. My next stressor is the weather, one website says its going to be in the low 70's and sunny, then another says in the mid 70's and raining. I am really hoping for the sunny websites forcast, it will make the party flow much better. I have a back up of course, but its not as good as if we were able to be outside. I am also trying to get my house cleaned and ready for the big event. So thats a job in its self. All I can say is thank god for parents. My mom and dad are coming up on Wen. to help me. So Thur mom and I will spend the day cleanning and then Friday we will set as much up as we can so there is less to do on Sat. Wish me luck. I am including a few photos of things I have ready so far. Check out the cute tee shirt I made for Austin to wear durring his smash cake photos! Too cute!

The big day is coming
So the big day is less than 2 weeks away. Where did the last year go? It seems like yesterday we were waiting on Austin to make his big arrival and now we are getting ready to celebrate his 1st birthday. I am trying so hard with his party. I really want it to be perfect. For those of you that say don't worry about it he will not even remember it. Well, that's true but I will and its a very special day for Brad and I and I want it to be as perfect as possible. My office looks like a zoo literally with all kinds of animals or something animal print. I have made my to-do list which also have to-do list. I have become quite "OCD" about this party. Wish us luck that everything turns out the way we in vision it. I will post pictures once its all over.

First day of long sleeves..
This morning when we woke up it was in the 40's here. So it was on the cool side. Needless to say it was time to break out the long sleeve shirts, jeans and some socks. After I got Austin all dressed I noticed just how cute he looked today. He looks like such a big boy, no baby anymore. I cant believe that my baby is going to be a year old in 2 weeks. Here are some pictures I took of him looking so tough.
Grandma-ma and Papa are coming..
We are so excited that my parents are on there way to our house as I type. My dad and I suprised my mom with them coming up for her 50th Birthday. He had to tell her they were going on a trip, but she thought he was suprising her with a trip to the mtns. Boy was she suprised. All she asked for this year way to see her grandson. And thats just what she is getting. We havent seent them in atleast 6 weeks so we are excited.
